Stuknięty Pierrot

Prezentacja białej pantomimy, gdzie gesty wyrażają słowa. Inaczej niż w klasycznym stylu pantomimy reprezentowanym przez Marceau, gdzie mim używa figuratywnych gestów łatwo rozpoznawalnych przez publiczność, w białej pantomimie gesty narzucane są przez wyrażane przez nie słowa, co pozwala na ekspozycję szerszego spektrum emocji. Przedstawienie składa się z rozmaitych momentów pokazujących Pierrota, czarującą postać rodem z przedmieść Paryża, wiecznie zakochanego w Colombinie, w sobie i w rozkoszach życia.

Teatr Maska, założony w 1990 roku, jest jedynym teatrem gestu, pantomimy i expresji ciała działającym w Rumunii. Od początku swojej działalności grupa pracowała dwutorowo: tworząc teatr uliczny (gdzie przedstawienia zawierają elementy klaunady, komedii dell’ arte, teatru średniowiecznego, dużych lalek, żywych posągów, itp.) oraz spektakle sceniczne, czerpiące z dzieł wybitnych autorów (N.V. Gogol, G.G. Marquez, E. Briusov, J.L. Borges), i zbliżone stylistycznie,  z wykorzystaniem teatru tańca oraz ograniczeniem tekstu do minimum lub do zera.

A presentation of white pantomime where gestures translate words. Unlike the pantomime style of Marceau, where the mime uses figurative gestures easily recognisable by the spectators, in white pantomime a gesture is imposed by the words expressed, and allow for a wider range of feelings to be exposed. The show contains various moments exposing Pierrot, a charming character born in the suburbs of Paris, always in love with Colombina, with himself and with the pleasures of life.

The Masca Theatre, founded in 1990, is the only gesture, pantomime and body expression theatre in Romania. Since it was established, the group has been following two trends:  street theatre (where the range of shows includes clownery, commedia dell’arte, mediaeval  theatre, big puppets, living statues etc.) and indoor performances originating in the works of great authors (N.V. Gogol, G.G. Marquez, E. Briusov, J.L. Borges) and similar in terms of style, with the use of dance theatre and the words limited to a minimum or no text at all.
