The Łagodnie Foundation was created out of the need to build a space where artistic courage and social engagement can coexist with sensitivity, safe relationships, and responsibility. We work for art, dialogue, and attentive creative processes, believing that gentleness is a form of strength.
The Foundation’s goal is the multidimensional development of culture, education, and art in the fields of dance, choreography, improvisation, and performance, with a focus on supporting a healthy, conscious, and ethical approach to working with the body and movement.
One of the pillars of the Foundation’s activity is artistic practice—original projects initiated by the Foundation’s founder, Marta Wołowiec, as well as by invited creators and artists.
We believe that art needs time, care, and community. We create structures that do not suppress what is alive, but rather help it endure and grow in relationship with others.
Our mission is to create opportunities for attentive being together in the world.
