Open call: presentation of a performance as part of the Spaces of Art – Dance Programme, organised by the National Institute of Music and Dance

We invite you to submit performances to be presented as part of Spaces of Art – Dance in Krakow. From all submissions, we will select the productions to be shown both on our stage and outdoors. We promise this is only the beginning of exciting news to come!

How to apply?

Applications to the open call include dance performances that have already had their premiere, run between 40 and 70 minutes, and whose team of artists consists of no more than five people (larger teams are considered individually).

From the submitted applications, the winning performances (3–5 to be presented at KTO Theatre, 2 regional – outdoor, 1–3 presented outdoors, and 1 performance for younger audiences up to the age of 12) will be selected. The selection committee evaluates, among others:

  • artistic value,
  • coherence of concept and dramaturgy,
  • composition and choreography,
  • originality of the idea,
  • accessibility for the audience.
