In August, Teatr KTO will perform at the world’s largest performing arts festival – the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025. Over the course of five days, our ensemble will present Peregrinus, directed by Jerzy Zoń, no fewer than ten times.
Peregrinus
Peregrinus portrays a single day in the life of a modern human. Using a visual and choreographic form with a grotesque sense of humor, it reveals the traps of everyday existence — traps into which we collectively fall, losing our identity and spiritual independence in the face of bureaucratic mechanisms.
Directed by Jerzy Zoń, Peregrinus has already toured almost the entire world. The performance has been acclaimed at numerous international festivals, including:
- Theatre Olympics (St. Petersburg, 2019)
- FiraTàrrega (Tàrrega, 2018)
- Chalon dans la rue (Chalon-sur-Saône, 2018)
- Nous La Rue (Montreal, 2017)
- Sziget Festival (Budapest, 2017)
- Sibiu International Theatre Festival (Sibiu, 2017)
- Seoul Street Arts Festival (Seoul, 2016)
- Tbilisi International Theatre Festival (Tbilisi, 2016)
- The New York International Fringe Festival (New York, 2016)
- Greenwich & Docklands International Festival (London, 2016)
Now it’s time for Edinburgh. Between 7 and 11 August 2025, we will present ten performances of Peregrinus at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. All shows are free of charge.
