“BALL”
A story written in steps. One night, one dance floor, and hundreds of tales. Which one will you dance?
A performance where dance speaks louder than words, and the rhythm is set by passionate and dynamic choreography. The fates of the characters are painted in a vibrant collage of actors’ bodies, moving to the pulse of music—from the swing era of the 1930s, through the passionate tangos of the 1950s, to the energetic contemporary rhythms. Each era has its unique charm, and each dance tells a different story of love, dreams, and the passage of time.
From a staging perspective, the production dazzles with its wealth of details. Woven from hundreds of objects, gestures inscribed in bodies, and expressions, it vividly recreates the world of bygone eras.
Inspired by the iconic film Ball by Ettore Scola, this performance transcends boundaries, taking the audience on a journey from which there is no return to everyday life.
