KTO Theatre in Krakow invites you to the 2nd edition of the Body and Time Festival, taking place from October 5 to 12, 2025. Following the success of last year’s debut, the event returns as a vibrant space for creators of form-based theatre, dance, movement, and visual arts — and for all those seeking new artistic languages and aesthetics.

The festival will open with the performance “Salon Bizarre”, directed by Ilona Gumowska and Jakub Mędrzycki, winners of the first edition. The show has since become a permanent part of Teatr KTO’s repertoire and has been praised by both audiences and critics.

This year’s festival line-up positions itself both alongside and against nature. We step into it not to idealise it. We are interested not only in well-being, but in nature as a force. Wild, raw, pulsing beneath the skin. A tension that drives action against logic and comfort. We want to get to the core. To explore identities, impulses, and wildness in a world dominated by urbanisation. We will dissect nature into muscles, instincts, and myths.

Can the body be a manifesto?
Can movement be a form of protest?
Can dance be a ritual of returning to oneself?

This festival is an invitation to pause. To immerse in the work of muscles and the crack of bones. We will do everything to ensure that nature is not just a backdrop – but a voice. Exposed. Unleashed.
