The film recording of the performative reading of Weselisko took place on December 17, 2020, on the legendary stage of the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Krakow. Almost 120 years earlier the premiere of The Wedding by Stanisław Wyspiański premiered on the same stage.
The satirical text by Bronisław Maj based on the motifs of the national drama created by the Fourth Bard, encrusted with quotations or paraphrases from the national literary Pantheon, from Krasicki and Norwid, through Gałczyński and Gombrowicz, to Herbert and Młynarski, was first staged by Jerzy Zoń on October 7, 2017, on the Podgórski Square in Krakow as part of Poetry Night.
