A street performance rooted in the tradition of the Russian and Ukrainian art of comedy. You will see there, among other things, an act about a mischievous marriage where love mingles with unfaithfulness and a wedding with a funeral – all of it set against the background of Balkan music.

Teatr Na Walizkach (The “Out of a Suitcase” Theatre) was founded in 2005 by professional actors Anna Went and Łukasz Jędrzejczak, and a Russian comedian and mime Oleg Yemtsev. It finds inspiration in films from the silent era (Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton), the contemporary Russian clowning school, improvisational theatre, puppet theatre, and pantomime.
