Strona główna » RESTORATIVE Workshop: Regeneration of the Dancing Body – Theory and Practice

This is already the third meeting in the series of regenerative workshops, dedicated not only to practical tools but, above all, to valuable theoretical insights. These will be introduced to us by physiotherapist, osteopath, trainer, and former dancer: Martyna Samek.
During the three-hour workshop, we will focus on conscious recovery, injury prevention, and building a strong, efficient body in dance. The session combines theoretical knowledge with a practical approach to a dancer’s daily life – both in the context of training and rest.
During the workshops, we will cover topics including:
recovery as an integral part of the training process,
the core pillars of recovery: sleep, rest, massage, regenerative activity, and conscious planning of training loads,
strength training and ways to safely integrate it into dance practice,
stretching, mobility, and active recovery—when they support the body, when they can lead to overuse, and how to use them consciously and effectively,
the physiology of recovery and body adaptation, as well as the impact of stress and the autonomic nervous system on tension, fatigue, and the healing process,
overuse, the most common injuries in dancers, and the basics of self-managing pain—what to do, what to avoid, and when to seek professional help.
The workshops will also include a practical session dedicated to stretching, myofascial rolling, and bodywork in the context of safe warm-ups, recovery, and injury prevention.
We invite anyone who trains in dance regularly, regardless of technique or level of advancement, who wants to better understand their body, train smarter, and support their long-term fitness and health.
We recommend wearing comfortable, soft clothing for the workshop
