Thank you for coming in such large numbers to Bohaterów Getta Square for a meeting with Remembrance, for a meeting with a world that has ceased to exist in the physical dimension, but is or should be a living image in our collective consciousness because “(our country) is a home which is built above all of the memory; memory is at the core of our identity“ wrote Jan Błoński analysing poems by Czesław Miłosz in his essay Poor Poles Look at the Ghetto, which became an inspiration for the scriptwriter and director Jerzy Zoń.
