The history of Ukraine told through the prism of the fate of Taras Shevchenko, a great writer, poet, painter, prisoner of labour camps and a spiritual leader of the Ukrainian nation. It is a story about dramatic experiences and the need for the Ukrainians to constantly struggle for the independence of their state, which is so relevant today in the era of dramatic developments in Ukraine. This colourful show makes use of stilts, mobile machines, burning elements of stage set and pyrotechnic effects.
