Piecuch the Greatest

The story of one of the three sons of an old king, who wants to prove to his father that he is a valuable person and “something will come of him”. So he sets out to conquer the world on the back of a magic horse, with an enchanted sword, which can defeat every monster, at his side. During his journey, he faces many dragons and solves numerous puzzles. The show is performed in the form of puppet theatre with wooden figures.

An original puppet theatre group, founded in 2014 in Gdańsk, by Marcin Marzec - its author, actor, director, puppet constructor and pedagogue. All performances of the Barnaby Theatre, even the most serious ones, are like onions: they have many layers. The deeper you get into the story, the more joy and tears you will find in it. In addition to the performances on its own stage, the Barnaby Theatre plays in numerous cultural centres and at festivals around Poland and Europe.
