Wykonawca na szczudłach, ubrany w ciemne ubranie, stoi na słabo oświetlonej scenie, trzymając długi drewniany słup. Z tyłu świecą jasne światła, a w tle widoczny jest namiot i siedząca publiczność.

Can trees sense the climate catastrophe? Are they afraid? Are they capable of mourning? What stories could they tell? This new production is about the contemporary witnesses who have lived through revolutions, wars and peace alliances in silent coexistence. In a mixture of physical theater, dance and live music, the show makes us get closer to those who have always been there and whose existence is becoming increasingly fragile due to the climate catastrophe: the trees.

antagon theaterAKTion is an international theatre ensemble founded in 1990 by Bernhard Bub in Frankfurt am Main. The aim of the ensemble is to create a politicized artistic language that deals with the conflicts of our society. Its artistic research is based on various perspectives of performing arts and the development of decolonial forms of expression. Influences include physical theatre, butoh, stilt acrobatics, contemporary music, expressive dance, Afro-diasporic dance and experimental video art.
