We invite artists to take part in an open call for a choreographic residency as part of the Spaces of Art – Dance Programme. The residency is primarily aimed at supporting emerging artists in the process of creating their own choreographic works.
The residency is a period dedicated to the creative process, experimentation, and artistic research.
It offers an excellent opportunity to:
- develop ongoing creative processes,
- test new choreographic ideas,
- deepen movement and artistic practice,
- work in a professional rehearsal space.
The 14-day choreographic residency will take place between 27 August and 4 October at the studio of Krakowski Teatr Tańca (69 Grzegórzecka Street, Kraków). As part of the residency, one feedback session will be organised during which the Resident will present their work in progress in the form of an open rehearsal, conceptual discussion, or a presentation of selected scenes and performative actions.
WHO CAN APPLY?
The open call is addressed to students in the final years of dance-related study programmes, as well as graduates of dance studies who completed their degree no earlier than 2023.
