We’re hitting the road! You didn’t forget, did you, that you can meet us not only at Zamoyskiego 50? Between April 10 and 12, you will have the chance to see our vibrant and captivating “BAL,” directed by Jerzy Zoń and choreographed by Eryk Makohon, four times at the City of Wings Festival in Ypres (Belgium).
„Bal”
Inspired by Ettore Scola’s film Bal, the performance tells the story of people who come together for one purpose only – to dance. Through dance, however, they express much more: their lives, dreams, moments of exaltation, and disappointments.
The performance boldly creates a world of past eras. Images flow into one another, triggering a chain of meanings and memories, allowing no respite from aesthetic and emotional experience. The characters’ stories are painted through a sculptural collage of actors’ bodies, in the rhythm of music—from the swing of the 1930s, through passionate tangos of the 1950s, to energetic contemporary beats.

The City of Wings Festival
An international festival promoting street art: circus, theatre, music, dance, puppetry, and installations. It attracts promoters and curators of street performances from across Europe. Admission to the festival is free.
