300-millisecond archives

Sensory memory acts as the first store of memory – it temporarily stores representations of sensory stimuli before they are processed further or fade away. 300-millisecond archives presents the body as an archive of movements, gestures and experiences, and the performance as a collection of traces that grows with each successive performance. An integral part of it is an installation-system that records various qualities of human movement – trajectories, gestures, facial expressions and the organisation of the body in space. The performers function as one of its lenses, reacting to the surroundings. The collection of data and the attempt to transcend temporality will also be present in the sound, its accumulation and continuous processing.
