Dopiero, kiedy do biura wchodzi lalunia w czerwonej sukience, jego życie nabiera nagłego przyspieszenia. Zespół składa się z aktorów, lalkarzy, kuglarzy, plastyków, humanistów. W spektaklach wykorzystuje lalki niekonwencjonalne, formy plastyczne, teatr cieni. Pierwsze trzy premiery miały miejsce na Festiwalu Teatrów Ulicznych w Krakowie (lipiec 2007), od tamtej pory zespół wystąpił na wielu festiwalach, ostatnio między innymi na 10. The Case of the Stonemason

A sad and dreary rainy day in the office of Dratwa, a private detective. He has not had a single client for weeks. The dragon case that once made him famous has already been forgotten. When, however, a pretty dolly in a red dress enters the office, the detective’s life suddenly accelerates. A simple request to solve the mystery of the death of the brothers who built the towers of St. Mary’s church turns into the most dangerous job in the detective’s career. A black comedy and an amusing crime story in one – this is the short description of the show. It bears reference to the legends of Krakow, mingling the past and the present while tracing the criminal case. Crime stories can be called “fables for adults” as they present black and white characters in a world where good wins over evil and where everything has a happy ending. The Case of the Stonemason is a crime story for children. Nothing here is obvious.

The Theatre of Figures from Krakow is a contemporary puppet theatre attractive both for children (8+) and the adults who accompany them. The troupe’s members are actors, puppet-show performers, jugglers and magicians as well as visual artists and humanists of different educational backgrounds. In their productions they use unconventional puppets, various forms of visual arts and the theatre of shadows. Their first three premieres took place at the Festival of Street Theatre in Krakow in 2007 and since that time the troupe has performed at many other festivals, including the 10th Revolutions International Theatre Festival in the USA. In Krakow their shows can be seen at the Wrzos Cinema-Theatre in the Podgórze district.
