Premiera Inferno 2010 miała miejsce w Londynie na tegorocznym Festiwalu Literatury zorganizowanym na południowym brzegu Tamizy (Southbank).
Tamtejszy bulwar i labirynt pobliskich ulic były znakomitym miejscem, by wejść do świata Dantego. Londyńskie City słynące od wieków z finansowych sztuczek to idealny kontekst dla tego celu zarówno pod względem fizycznym jak i psychologicznym. Grupa pod kierunkiem Siobhan Dunne wzięła na warsztat pierwszą księgę z Boskiej Komedii Dantego Aligheri – Inferno, aby poddać swym badaniom podróż poety do krainy kręgów ognia piekielnego. Dziś podróż ta rozpoczyna się w Londynie 2010 roku. Miejsce akcji wypełnia wulgarność giełdy papierów wartościowych wyrażona gestami drapieżnych graczy i jękami wydobywającymi się z ich trzewi.    

Studium Teatralne Barnet College od lat wnosi swój wkład do festiwali teatrów ulicznych w Krakowie. Twierdzą oni wręcz, że parają się teatrem ulicznym i tworzą nietradycyjne przedstawienia w Wielkiej Brytanii głównie ze względu na swoją przyjaźń z Teatrem KTO i z krakowską publicznością!

Inferno 2010 was premiered on London’s Southbank as part of this year’s Literature Festival. The Southbank’s walkway and labyrinths was a perfect host to enter into Dante’s world, the City of London and its centuries of financial shenanigans is the ultimate physical and psychological backdrop. The company under the direction of Siobhan Dunne have taken Dante Alighieri’s first book from the Divina Commedia - Inferno to explore the poet’s descent into the burning circles of the underworld. Dante’s journey starts today - now - in London 2010 and the vulgarity of the stock exchange, the tortured gestures of the rapacious 21st century players and the visceral sounds of contemporary hell all come out to play.

The Barnet College Foundation Degree in Performing Arts have been contributing to the festivals of street theatre in Krakow for many years. They even maintain that they want to develop street theatre and non-traditional performances in Britain mainly thanks to their friendship with the KTO Theatre and the Krakow audience!
